Raul Garcia was born in Lincoln, Nebraska on October 10, 1960. He majored in religion at the La Sierra College of Arts and Sciences at Loma Linda University, where he received his Bachelor of Arts Degree in 1984. Later, he attended law school at the University of Houston and was awarded his Juris Doctorate Degree in 1987.
Raul is also licensed to practice before the California state courts, and has been admitted to practice in the United States District Courts for the Central and Southern Districts of California.
Raul was previously a partner with the 750-attorney Los Angeles-based law firm of Lewis, Brisbois, Bisgaard & Smith, LLP, working out of its San Bernardino office. Prior to that, he was of counsel to the 450-attorney Cleveland-based law firm of Arter & Hadden, working out of its Irvine and Ontario offices. At those firms, Raul was trained to handle business litigation matters and was involved in complex commercial litigation. Over the years, he has represented lenders on commercial judicial foreclosures, and has worked on loan modifications and assumptions. He has also represented title companies on complex title issues and has represented, and continues to represent a varied range of business entities involved in a multitude of areas such as commercial lending, title insurance, food preparation, mining, produce, real estate investments, mortgage lending and termite and pest control.
Raul enjoys reading, golf, computers and snow skiing.
